Aloe
Vera comes from a succulent plant that has fleshy leaves that have
small spikes along the edges. Although Aloe is a subtropical plant
and can't withstand temperatures much below 40F, it is very easy
to grow at home. It has great uses externally from the fluid of
the leaves, they treat minor burns, or sunburns, help in healing
cuts, helps to prevent scarring, reduce tissue damage from frostbite,
relieves skin irritations to name a few.
Taken
internally, Aloe Vera has been shown to strengthen and stabilize
the immune system, treating intestinal inflammatory disorders, rheumatoid
arthritis, AIDS, cancer and a host of other diseases.
